NOTICE: ALL SEATTLE CITY POOLS ARE CLOSED DUE TO COVID-19. PRACTICE CANCELLED UNTIL FURTHER NOTICE!
Full contact water polo will not be allowed at city pools until after Washington enters stage 4 of re-opening. We typically take the summer off due to low turnout (our great summer weather and late sunsets mean that people don't really want to swim indoors in July and August!), and private outdoor pools are already booked for the summer, so we anticipate resuming regular drop-in pool practices after Labor Day. For updates we recommend subscribing to our email newsletter (link can be found on the Contact page) or follow us on Instagram or Face book (links at the top of the page). As soon as we have more information we will update this page as well as broadcast it there.
We practice year round. There is no membership fee or club registration required, just drop in, pay, and play! Practicing players are required to have current USA Water Polo registration for insurance purposes (bronze level for practice only, silver if you intend on entering tournaments). Practices typically consist of a 30 minute warm-up period followed by an hour of scrimmage.
